Tesla Sparked Here: Pikes Peak Power
Fabled to be the design of electrical scientist Nichola Tesla, the Pikes Peak Power Station No. 1 or electric substation was built in 1899. Located in Victor, Colorado - a National Historic District - the building is surrounded by turn-of-the-century architectural gems and an authentic Colorado mining town.
