The center sells recycled overstock materials, seconds, used, discontinued or salvaged building materials to keep them out of landfills and to raise money for Habitat for Humanity.

Boston Basement Rehab: Moving Along With Plaster, Tile & Cabinets

Our inspections are all done so the Darosa Brothers from New Bedford moved in in full force to hang gypsum plaster board and plaster all the walls and ceilings. They also repaired and blended an existing curved ceiling in the stairwell.

This Old House’s Jordan Novet has put together a great list of “house part thrift stores” bringing to light the thriving second life of unused construction materials, and where to find them. Many of our favorite stomps made the list, like Build It Green! NYC and the Building Materials Resource Center Building Materials Resource Center, where you’ll find donations from Scott’s company SBK Unlimited.
